Cookies & Privacy

We keep tracking to an absolute minimum. This site does not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We do not profile you or sell any data. We also do not load fonts, scripts or resources from third-party servers: we use the system font stack, with no Google Fonts or external CDNs.

First-party cookies we use

Only essential first-party cookies, needed for the site to work:

  • feedmebio-session — keeps your session (required for sign-in and security).
  • XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
  • remember_web_* — set only if you tick "Remember me" at sign-in. It is not set for anonymous visitors.

These are strictly necessary cookies; as such, they do not require prior consent. The site cannot operate securely without them.

Third-party cookies (only at payment)

When you start paying for the PRO subscription, the payment processor PayPal sets its own third-party cookies. They are needed to process the payment securely and prevent fraud, and are governed by PayPal's cookie policy, not ours. We do not control them or use them to profile you or show you advertising. They only appear inside the payment flow; if you do not buy PRO, they are not set.

Local storage (not cookies)

We store some preferences (theme, layout, font size) in your browser's localStorage. They are not sent to any server, and you can clear them by clearing the site data.

Terms of Service

Welcome to FEEDMEBIO, an RSS/Atom news aggregator focused on the biotechnology sector, operated from the Argentine Republic. By accessing or using this site you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What we offer

FEEDMEBIO aggregates public headlines from trusted biotech sources. The core feed is free to use. We also offer a paid PRO subscription, which unlocks features such as advanced filters, access to the full historical archive, saved searches and data exports, at the prices shown on the pricing page (displayed in Argentine pesos, taxes included).

2. Beta service

FEEDMEBIO is in public beta. Features may change, break or be withdrawn without notice while we improve the service.

3. Using the platform

You may use FEEDMEBIO to read, search and filter headlines for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • scrape, resell or redistribute the aggregated data in bulk;
  • overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
  • use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms.

4. Content and authorship

FEEDMEBIO does not own the news content it displays. The copyright of each article belongs to its original author and publisher. For every item we only show the source, the title, a short description and a link back to the original article. To read the full story you are sent to the publisher's own site. If you are a rights holder and want a source removed, use our legal & contact form.

5. AI-generated classifications

Tags and categories shown on the site (sector, technology, type) are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and may be imperfect, incomplete or wrong. They are a navigation aid only and must not be taken as factual, professional or editorial judgement. If you spot a misclassification, you can report it through our legal & contact form and we will review it.

6. No advice, no reliance

Headlines, descriptions and classifications are only an aid for navigating information. Nothing on FEEDMEBIO constitutes financial, investment, legal, regulatory, medical, scientific or commercial advice, and must not be relied upon for any decision. Always verify against the original source and consult a qualified professional.

7. Disclaimer of liability

The platform and all data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any headline, description, link or classification. To the maximum extent permitted by law — and without affecting your mandatory rights as a consumer — we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the platform or its content.

8. Intermediary status

FEEDMEBIO is a neutral technical intermediary that links to third-party content it does not create, host or control. Consistent with Argentine Supreme Court doctrine (CSJN, "Rodríguez, María Belén"), an intermediary is responsible for third-party content only once it has effective knowledge of manifestly unlawful content and fails to remove it; there is no duty of prior monitoring. On effective notice through our form we review and, where appropriate, promptly remove or block the source.

9. PRO subscription, right of withdrawal & cancellation

PRO subscription payments are processed by PayPal, under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not store full card data. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen period.

  • Right of withdrawal (botón de arrepentimiento): you may cancel your purchase within 10 running days of contracting, with a full refund and without giving a reason (art. 34, Ley 24.240). A functional withdrawal button is available at checkout and in your account.
  • Easy cancellation (baja fácil): you may cancel at any time through the same channel you used to subscribe, with immediate effect on renewals (Res. 424/2020). Cancellation stops future renewals; PRO access remains until the end of the current paid period.
  • Beyond the withdrawal window, renewals and partial periods are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

10. Copyright complaints & takedown

We respect intellectual property. We display only the source, title, a short description and a link back to each original article; we do not host or reproduce full content. If you are a rights holder (or their agent) and believe something shown here infringes your rights, notify us through the legal & contact form, stating: identification of the work and the URL(s) on this site; your contact details and a declaration that you are the rights holder or are authorised. We will review and, where appropriate, promptly remove or block the source. You can also ask us to stop aggregating a specific feed at any time.

11. Third-party links

Links lead to external sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

12. Eligibility & indemnity

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. You agree to hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the platform or breach of these terms, without affecting your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13. Consumer protection & governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. The consumer relationship is additionally governed by Ley 24.240 de Defensa del Consumidor; nothing herein waives or limits the mandatory rights that law grants you.

The provider is FEEDMEBIO, domiciled in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, without prejudice to the consumer's right to sue or be sued at their own domicile and to turn to the available consumer-protection bodies (e.g. COPREC / Ventanilla Única Federal / Defensa del Consumidor).

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect implies acceptance.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms, copyright or your account: use our legal & contact form.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data FEEDMEBIO collects and how it is used, under Argentina's Ley 25.326 de Protección de los Datos Personales and the rules of the AAIP. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to operate the service.

The data controller is FEEDMEBIO, domiciled in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any privacy request, use our legal & privacy form.

What we collect

  • Account data — on registration: your email and an encrypted password. PRO users also have their subscription/billing status.
  • Payment data — payments are processed by PayPal; we do not store full card data, which is handled directly by the processor.
  • Functional data — preferences (theme, layout, font size) stored in your browser; your language in your server session.
  • Security data — minimal technical information to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting).

How we use it

We use your data only to operate the platform: to authenticate you, remember preferences, deliver PRO features, process payments and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking. We also do not load fonts, scripts or resources from third-party servers: we use the system font stack.

Third parties involved in processing

We rely on a limited number of providers acting as processors or recipients, solely to provide the service:

  • PayPal — PRO subscription payment processing (its own privacy policy applies).
  • Hosting provider — private server located in Argentina.

We do not share your data for any other purpose. Processing a payment through PayPal involves an international transfer of data outside Argentina; that transfer is made because it is necessary to perform the payment you requested (exception under art. 12 of Ley 25.326) and under PayPal's own security policies.

News content

Headlines come from public feeds. Rights belong to their author/publisher; we only show source, title, description and link. See the Terms of Service. Some labels are AI-generated and may be misclassified.

Cookies

We use only essential, first-party cookies. At payment, PayPal sets its own third-party cookies. See the Cookies section.

Hosting, retention & legal basis

Data is hosted on a private server in Argentina. We process account data to provide the service you requested (contract) and to keep it secure (legitimate interest). We keep data while your account is active; if you delete it, we erase your personal data, except the minimum we must retain for legal or billing obligations.

Your rights

You may access, rectify, update, delete and export your data at any time — free of charge under Ley 25.326 — through our legal & privacy form. You may also file a claim with the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), the Argentine supervisory authority. If you are in the EU/EEA, GDPR rights also apply, including a complaint to your local authority.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time. For any question, use our legal & privacy form.
